Role Overview
Insight Global is looking for an Installation Technician to assist with installing equipment at the designated customer sites across Europe. This individual will be responsible for assembling the machines from both an electrical and mechanical standpoint, at the various customer sites. This role is not exclusive to London and technicians can be based anywhere in the UK.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Travel to customer sites across Europe to install large-scale robotic machinery
  • Responsible for both mechanical and electrical assembly
  • Work from schematics and technical instructions to ensure correct installation
  • Troubleshoot issues on-site
  • Support customers during installs
  • Answer any technical questions to ensure a smooth deployment
  • Travel will typically be 3–6 weeks at a time, with all expenses covered
  • Work closely with international engineering teams delivering complex automation projects

Must-Haves

  • Hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical assembly
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to read and follow schematics and technical instructions
  • Experience working in on-site installation or field-based roles
  • Comfortable communicating in English
  • UK Residence/Passport and EU Passport
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Europe
