We have an exciting opportunity for an Installation Technician to join the team within our Buckinghamshire Technology Enabled Care (TEC) Service Centre. This is an excellent opportunity where you'll work as part of an engaged and motivated team, for a company committed to reward and recognition for a job well done. Livity Life work in partnership with the local authority to supply TEC solutions to support people in their day-to-day life. This TEC service provides the assessment of service users’ care technology needs all the way through to the installation, maintenance and review of technology equipment.
As an Installation Technician with us you will be responsible for the delivery, installation and collection of TEC equipment within people’s homes and associated locations across Buckinghamshire. You will also be involved in the servicing and repair of equipment.
What are we looking for?
- Must be able to work off their own initiative as well as part of a team.
- Previous relevant experience is preferable however full training will be provided
- You must hold a full UK driving licence (minimum 3 years) with no more than 6 points
- You must be able to load and unload goods some of which may be heavy
- Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential
- Previous PAT testing experiences an advantage, but training can be provided
- Previous van driving experience would be beneficial
- You must be comfortable working with vulnerable people across our counties
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of Telecare and/or Community Equipment desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
