The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Installation Technician to join our Technology Enabled Care (TEC) team in Nottingham.
Working in partnership with the local authority, you’ll help deliver technology solutions that support people in their day-to-day lives and enable them to remain safe and independent at home.
As an Installation Technician, you’ll be responsible for the delivery, installation and collection of TEC equipment in people’s homes and other locations across Liverpool, as well as supporting the servicing and repair of equipment.

- Delivering, installing and collecting TEC equipment
- Setting up equipment safely and correctly within customers’ homes
- Servicing and carrying out basic repairs to equipment
- Loading and unloading equipment from the company vehicle
- Providing a professional, friendly and respectful service to customers
- Working independently while remaining an effective part of the wider team
Experience
- Previous relevant experience is desirable, but full training will be provided
- Previous van driving experience would be beneficial
- Experience of PAT testing is an advantage, although training can be provided
- Knowledge of Telecare and/or Community Equipment is desirable but not essential
Skills & Knowledge
- A full UK driving licence held for a minimum of 3 years, with no more than 6 points
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable working in the homes of vulnerable people
- Able to work independently and use your own initiative
- Good attention to detail
- Able to safely load and unload equipment, some of which may be heavy
- Reliable, professional and team-focused
