If you are organised, enjoy keeping people and plans on track, and have some experience in installations, field service, IT support, telecoms or a similar environment, this could be a great next move.

You do not need to be the person carrying out the installation. This role is about planning the work, coordinating our teams and suppliers, and making sure each installation has the right people, equipment and information in place.

You will join our Installations Planning team, helping to coordinate IT installations across our depots and offices while building your knowledge and taking on more responsibility.

This is a full time role based 4 days onsite at our office in Northampton or Watford with 1 day from home. There may be some travel to depots therefore a full UK driving license is essential.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Planning and scheduling installation activity across our depot and office network
  • Keeping project plans, actions and key information accurate and up to date
  • Coordinating engineers, internal teams and third-party suppliers
  • Making sure equipment and stock are available when and where they are needed
  • Tracking progress, spotting issues early and helping to keep work on schedule
  • Providing clear updates to colleagues and stakeholders
  • Supporting network and telephony incidents and service requests, and helping ensure agreed service levels are met
  • Helping improve planning processes so the team can work more efficiently

What We’re Looking For

Above all, we are looking for a strong planner and coordinator. You might already work in installations, scheduling, field service, project support, administration, logistics, IT support or telecommunications and be ready for your next step.

  • Excellent organisation skills and the confidence to manage several priorities at once
  • A clear and proactive communication style
  • Experience coordinating people, appointments, tasks, suppliers or project activity
  • Good attention to detail and a practical approach to solving problems
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and learning new systems
  • The ability to build positive working relationships across different teams
  • An interest in installations, technology or service delivery

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
