About the Team
You will join the JINGDONG Logistics team, where collaboration, ownership, and high-quality execution are central to how we work. We are seeking Experienced Installation Engineers with a strong electrical background to play an integral role in our home delivery and installation operation. This is more than a technical installation role. You will be a key technical presence in field operations, helping to ensure safety, precision, compliance, and an excellent customer experience in every home.
About the Role
First and foremost, this is a customer-facing home delivery installation role. As an Installation Engineer, you will bridge technical installation requirements with seamless customer delivery. You will undertake both basic and higher-specification installations while working in accordance with applicable regulations and internal standards.
- White goods and premium integrated appliances
- TV installation, including wall mounting
- Electric cooking appliances
- Smart home and connected products
- Robotic products and other future product categories introduced by the business

Training will be provided and competency assessment will continue across multiple product categories. Candidates must, however, be able to demonstrate practical installation experience in more than one of the key categories above. The role may also include developing and mentoring junior team members and supporting depot managers to ensure best practice, quality standards, and regulatory requirements are consistently maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation Delivery: Carry out white goods, integrated appliance, TV, electric cooking, flat-pack furniture, smart product, and robotic product installations, together with future categories determined by business need.
- Customer Excellence: Provide knowledgeable product demonstrations and turn a technical installation into a professional, premium customer experience.
- Technical Mentorship: Coach and mentor junior installers and apprentices on site, helping to raise technical capability and consistency across the team.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct installation spot checks and audits against applicable electrical requirements, including electrical competency and safety where relevant, and JINGDONG Logistics internal benchmarks.
- Compliance & Safety: Maintain accurate certification and installation records and ensure health, safety, and operational procedures are followed. Issue Electrical installation certificates and safety notices.
About You
- Electrical Competency: Competency in electric cooking installation, supported by demonstrable experience in white goods or another relevant installation discipline. Capability using a multimeter, demonstrate safe working practice, and competency to pass electric cooking installation training and assessment.
- Qualifications: Level 3 NVQ or other relevant electrical qualifications are desirable but not essential.
- Experience: A proven track record in domestic appliance installation.
- Leadership Mindset: A natural ability to teach, coach, and support others, with a genuine interest in developing the next generation of engineers.
- Driving Licence: A clean UK driving licence. Experience driving 3.5-tonne vehicles is advantageous.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel regularly to depots and customers' homes.
