About the Role

The Install Engineer (Barrier Installer) is responsible for the safe, high quality installation of A SAFE barrier systems across customer sites throughout the UK. The role plays a key part in protecting people, assets and environments by ensuring installations meet A SAFE’s exacting safety, quality and brand standards. Working as part of a two person installation team, the Install Engineer represents A SAFE professionally on site while delivering installations efficiently, compliantly and on schedule.

How you will make an impact

  • Deliver safe, compliant installations of A SAFE barrier systems in line with RAMS, permits to work, site rules and company standards, ensuring all work meets required safety and quality expectations.
  • Prepare effectively for site work by reviewing drawings, site information, risk assessments and installation instructions, identifying any missing materials or information before installation begins.
  • Carry out installation activities accurately including setting out, measuring, drilling, fixing and securing products to specification using hand and power tools safely and correctly.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a two person crew, supporting the Installation Supervisor or Lead Installer to complete works within agreed timescales and quality standards.

  • Identify and escalate issues and opportunities by reporting NCRs, site constraints, risks, near misses and potential remedial, upgrade or variation opportunities promptly in line with company procedures.
  • Complete required documentation and checks, including timesheets, site records, post installation inspections and quality checks, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
