The Role

In this role you will be responsible for prospecting for new business in your allocated territory.

For new business you will focus on origination, prospecting, pipeline management and execution of new client accounts.

You will also help support the International London team on content creation and systems management.

You will work alongside the International (EMEA + APAC) sales and product specialist team in London and the broader NDR strategist and marketing teams to drive NDR client growth.

A typical day could look as follows:

  • Prospecting for new accounts, both through direct outreach, marketing driven campaigns and event attendance.
  • Ensure you have all key client stakeholders involved in each opportunity process.
  • Assist clients and prospects in customizing the NDR platform offering to best suit their needs.
  • Create client urgency and move opportunities toward opportunity execution to ensure optimal sales conversation.
  • Provide content and systems support to the London-based sales team.

Other responsibilities will include:

  • Development and implementation of business development plans, in order to grow and develop NDR’s client relationships in your territory.
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to maximize engagement and new business opportunities.

Experience Required

  • Ideally at least 2 years’ experience as a commercial sales team member in a investment-related subscription sales environment
  • Familiarity navigating CRM systems
  • A proven track record of using consultative sales techniques and commercial management strategies to influence, negotiate, gain commitment, and develop relationships with senior investment professionals.
  • An understanding of the different types of institutional investors and their respective research needs.
  • A good understanding and interest in global macro-economics, strategy and investment.

Good to have: strong existing relationships with senior investment professionals in wealth management, family offices, investment teams at insurance companies, pension funds, endowments & foundations.

Nice to have:

  • CFA or other professional designations
  • Existing client base of institutional investors in UK/ APAC
