In-Store Cleaning Manager

Locations: Kimberley & Castle Boulevard, Nottingham

Hours: 30 hours per week

Shift: 5:00am - 12:00pm

Pay: £13.75 per hour

Permanent | Part-Time

We are looking for an experienced and reliable In-Store Cleaning Manager to manage the cleaning operation within a busy retail store in Nottingham.

We have opportunities available at two locations - Kimberley and Castle Boulevard.

This is a hands-on management role where you will be responsible for leading a team of 6 cleaners, ensuring the store is cleaned to a consistently high standard and that the team operates efficiently each day.

The Role

As the In-Store Cleaning Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the cleaning team within the store.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Managing and supervising a team of 6 cleaners
  • Organising daily cleaning duties and ensuring all areas are covered
  • Checking cleaning standards and carrying out regular quality checks
  • Ensuring the store is cleaned and ready to a high standard
  • Managing staff attendance, performance and standards
  • Supporting with training and onboarding new team members
  • Organising holiday and sickness cover
  • Ensuring cleaning products and equipment are available
  • Reporting any maintenance or cleaning issues to the relevant teams
  • Maintaining good communication with store management
  • Ensuring company health & safety procedures are followed
  • Completing cleaning schedules, checks and relevant paperwork
  • Leading by example and supporting the team with cleaning when required

About You

We're looking for someone who is reliable, organised and confident managing a small team.

You Will Ideally Have

  • Previous experience in cleaning supervision, cleaning management, housekeeping or a similar role
  • Experience managing or leading a small team
  • Good communication and people-management skills
  • High standards and excellent attention to detail
  • A proactive approach and the ability to work independently
  • The confidence to deal with store management and staff
  • Good organisational and time-management skills
  • A hands-on approach - you're happy to get involved and lead from the front

Previous retail or commercial cleaning experience is desirable but not essential for the right candidate.
