  • Manage the delivery of in-store communications which supports the strategic objectives of the Commercial Business Unit and is in line with the Asda Brand and in-store comms principles
  • Support the Business Partner to understand category strategy, target customers and lead the development of appropriate in-store communications in line with Asda Brand and In-store comms principles
  • Be responsible for critical path management across all stakeholders, to ensure activity lands right first time
  • Accountable for writing artwork & print briefs for our agencies to ensure the brief is delivered with minimum amends, in the most cost-efficient way, whilst maintaining & managing agency relationships & processes
  • Adherence to the in-store communications approval process with relevant stakeholders - particularly ensuring sign off is sought from Legal team as required
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the ASDA in-store communications toolkit, principles and brand guidelines – ensuring in-store communications are developed in line with these and land right first time
  • Accountable for the communications package to Retail – including element tables, briefing packs etc. – to encourage right first-time implementation in-store
  • An in depth understanding of the retail market for your business unit / area – analysing the competitor’s activity, building a knowledge bank that will enable you to effectively plan and design future in-store comms
  • Coach & support the POS Co-Ordinator with workload management, prioritisation & development
