Mission
The Tailor is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of garment alterations and repairs, maintaining Mango's standards of craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Garment Alterations and Repairs: Perform alterations and repairs on garments according to customer specifications and Mango standards, ensuring precision and quality in every task.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the store team to ensure timely completion of alterations and repairs, supporting overall store operations and customer service.
- Customer Advising: Advise customers on the best alteration options to achieve their desired fit and style, providing expert guidance and solutions.
- Workspace Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are in good condition and readily available for use.
- Fashion Trends and Techniques: Keep up to date with fashion trends and techniques to provide innovative solutions that enhance garment fit and style.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory of sewing supplies and materials, ensuring availability for all tasks and efficient use of resources.
- Feedback Provision: Provide feedback to store management on customer requests and garment issues, contributing to continuous improvement in service delivery.

Profile
The ideal candidate is skilled in various sewing techniques and garment construction, detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and precision. They should possess excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members, and have the ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a tailor or in garment alterations, preferably within a fashion retail environment.
- Expertise in sewing techniques and garment construction.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and precision.
- Excellent communication skills for customer interaction and team collaboration.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Passionate about fashion and committed to continuous learning and improvement.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing customer needs and store demands.
