Who are we looking for?
We're looking for an Instructional Designer to join our content team and help us scale the production of interactive, story-driven safety learning experiences. This role is ideal for someone who believes great learning is more than content delivery—it creates emotional engagement, meaningful decisions, and lasting behaviour change.
What You'll Do
You'll work alongside learning designers, subject matter experts, producers, artists, and developers to design learning experiences used by workers in high-risk industries around the world.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing scenario-based learning experiences grounded in real workplace situations
- Transforming incident reports, safety procedures, and SME knowledge into engaging learning journeys
- Creating scene-by scene learning designs for immersive and interactive training modules
- Writing branching narratives, learner choices, feedback, and assessments
- Applying learning science principles to improve retention, transfer, and engagement
- Collaborating closely with our production team to move modules from concept through release
- Helping establish repeatable design patterns and frameworks that improve quality and production speed across our content library
- Using AI tools and emerging technologies to accelerate content creation and iteration

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
