Summary of Vacancy

Instructional Designer

As an Instructional Designer, you'll help shape learning across our organisation, supporting colleagues with innovative, accessible, and effective e-learning solutions. Salary: £37,878 - £41,150

Benefits: company car or car allowance (up to £7,115 per annum), up to 10% annual bonus, 3x life assurance policy, 25 days holiday (plus 8 bank holidays), sick pay, and additional benefits.

Location: Maidenhead OR any SUEZ UK office (hybrid working 3 x per week)

About The Role

What will I be Doing?

As Our Instructional Designer, You Will

  • Design, develop and deliver high-quality digital learning and e-learning solutions aligned to business priorities.
  • Conduct training needs analysis and collaborate with subject matter experts, project teams and stakeholders to create engaging learning experiences.
  • Create storyboards, multimedia content and learning materials using tools such as Articulate 360, Vyond, Camtasia and LMS platforms.
  • Manage multiple projects, ensuring quality, accuracy and on-time delivery while continuously evaluating and improving learning effectiveness.
  • Support the creation, publication and maintenance of digital learning content, providing guidance on best practice where content is developed collaboratively.

What are the Requirements?

We're looking for someone who brings a blend of instructional design expertise, creativity and stakeholder engagement skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, with 3-5 years' experience in e-learning content development.
  • Proven experience designing and delivering self-guided digital learning programmes, with strong knowledge of learning principles, learner engagement and instructional design methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel, together with Articulate 360, LMS platforms, Photoshop, Vyond and Camtasia.
  • Strong communication and project management skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across a range of stakeholders.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
