The Role:

CluePoints is seeking an experienced Learning Experience Designer / Instructional Designer to design, develop and deploy engaging learning experiences that accelerate the productivity and effectiveness of new and existing commercial team members.

The contractor will partner closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across Product, Commercial, HR and Leadership to transform complex business and technical content into practical, scalable learning. The learning portfolio will support onboarding, reboarding, product proficiency, commercial excellence and customer engagement skills.

The role owns the learning design, creation and configuration: learner journey design, content development, e-learning production, role-play simulation design, Docebo administration and configuration. The intended outcomes are faster ramp time, stronger commercial competency and more consistent execution across the customer-facing organisation.

The initial engagement is scoped at 5-6 weeks, with an option to extend to 8 weeks subject to delivery progress and agreed priorities. Work is remote-first. The successful contractor will demonstrate:

  • 3+ years of learning experience or instructional-design experience, ideally supported by a portfolio of B2B SaaS sales or commercial-enablement programs.
  • Proven ability to extract, simplify and structure learning content from technical and business SMEs.
  • Strong curriculum, learner-journey, storyboard, assessment and performance-support design capability.
  • Proficiency with at least one major authoring tool, such as Articulate Rise, Storyline, DoceboShape, iSpring or equivalent.
  • Hands-on experience with Docebo or a comparable LMS, including course configuration, learning plans, assessments and reporting.
  • Experience designing scenario-based learning, sales role plays or AI-enabled coaching simulations.
  • Strong stakeholder and independent project-management skills, with the ability to manage SME reviews and delivery milestones in a lean team.
  • A practical understanding of adult learning, accessibility, evaluation and iterative improvement.

We are looking for someone to deliver the following work streams. The final volume and sequencing of learning assets will be agreed at kick-off against business priorities, source-content readiness and SME availability.

1. E-learning development

  • Work with Subject Matter Experts to develop the storyboards for the learning program, courses and modules
  • From the storyboards, build engaging digital learning using Articulate Rise, Storyline, DoceboCreate or an agreed equivalent.
  • Use scenario-based learning, branching conversations, case studies, knowledge checks, video, gamification and interactive simulations where these methods improve user experience, application and retention.
  • Apply adult-learning and modern instructional-design principles to create concise, accessible and learner-centred experiences.

2. Role-play and AI coaching development

  • Work with SMEs to design realistic role-play exercises aligned to CluePoints ICP’s, buyer personas and sales motions.
  • Configure AI-driven coaching simulations within Docebo for product value pitching, discovery, qualification, objection handling, value selling and executive conversations.
  • Define coaching criteria, performance rubrics and actionable feedback to support learner growth.

3. LMS and learning-experience configuration

  • Configure courses, curricula, assignments, learning plans, certification pathways and learner journeys in Docebo.
  • Implement assessments, completion criteria, progress tracking and reporting aligned to onboarding and reboarding milestones.
  • Maintain a seamless learner experience across digital, virtual, classroom and performance-support assets.

4. Assessment and learning measurement

  • Develop knowledge assessments, practical exercises and competency evaluations.
  • Define success measures for engagement, completion, knowledge, skill application and business impact.
  • Analyze learner data and feedback, identify trends and recommend evidence-based improvements.

5. Pilot, iteration and handover

  • Support a pilot cohort of new hires and existing commercial team members, gather feedback and incorporate agreed changes.
  • Produce LMS administration and maintenance documentation, including ownership and refresh recommendations.
  • Handover editable source files, approved assets and agreed operating guidance at contract completion.
