Instructor in Animal Studies
Salary: Within the range of £28,080 to £32,895 per annum* (bar at £29,640, progression requires completion of a recognised teaching qualification)
Starting salary subject to college salary assessment process
Hours: 35 hours per week, 52 weeks a year

We are seeking to recruit an Instructor in Animal Studies that have practical, hands-on industry experience with relevant qualifications to deliver practical based lessons to our animal studies learners.
About the Role
We are looking for an individual with relevant and up-to-date industry experience within the Animal sector, preferably within a zoo, that is supported by relevant qualifications as well as a Level 2 qualification (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
Key Responsibilities
- Passionate about engaging and motivating learners
- Demonstrating creativity and innovation in your teaching
- Planning practical based lessons
- Demonstrating practical concepts and tasks
- Providing learners with meaningful feedback to develop their hands-on practical skills
- Carrying out practical based assessments
- Making reasonable adjustments to lessons to meet the diverse needs of learners
About You
You should be passionate about engaging and motivating learners, demonstrating creativity and innovation in your teaching to ensure that learners receive an exceptional educational experience.
