Job Opportunity at Buzz Active
Do you love being outdoors and helping others discover adventure on the water and in the woods? If you do, you could be part of our instructor team at Buzz Active, delivering unforgettable outdoor experiences across three stunning East Sussex locations.
About the Role
As an Activity Instructor with Buzz Active, you’ll help people of all ages experience the outdoors through a range of land and water-based activities. You’ll deliver high-quality sessions, maintain equipment, and support group experiences from day visits to residential stays. Depending on your qualifications, you could be teaching sailing or paddle sports, leading climbing or archery sessions, or helping with our residential adventure programmes.
You’ll be part of a supportive, passionate team delivering outdoor learning to schools, youth groups, and the public.
Contracts Available
- Full season: 22 March 2027 - 03 October 2027
- Peak season: 31 May 2027 - 05 September 2027
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who:
- Hold relevant RYA, British Canoeing, or land-based instructional qualifications (e.g. Archery GB, Climbing Wall Instructor).
- Have a valid First Aid qualification.
- Enjoy working outdoors with young people and diverse groups.
- Can work flexibly across weekends and evenings.
- Have a positive, team-focused attitude and a passion for helping others learn new skills.
