Working Hours:
Monday to Friday: 8 am to 4:30 pm + On-Call Rota
Salary:
GBP 50,000 to GBP 55,000

About the Role:

Due to growth within their engineering team, they are looking for a number of instrumentation and calibration engineers. Responsibilities:
As an Instrumentation and Calibration Engineer, your core role and responsibilities are:
- Responsible for supporting all PPM and reactive calibration, maintenance, and fault finding on site instrumentation and control systems
- Calibration of temperature, humidity, pressure, flow, and speed instrumentation
- Use of Maximo CMMS systems
- Dealing with HVAC, reactor systems, stability chambers, utilities, and cold rooms
- Maintain calibration equipment, ensure certification is current and traceable

Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Experienced within instrumentation, calibration, or controls
- Previously worked in manufacturing, utilities, chemicals, water, or oil and gas
- Worked on BMS systems, HVAC, reactor systems, stability chambers, cold rooms
- Level 3 qualified or higher in engineering; ideally apprenticeship trained
- Must be able to do instrumentation calibration: temperature, flow, speed, and humidity
- Ideally have worked to ATEX, GMP standards
- Good computer skills; use of CMMS systems
- Experienced with water systems, sensors, flowmeters, gas analyzers; beneficial
- Knowledge of control systems and PLC programming; desirable
