Talentmark are currently recruiting for a Control and Instrumentation Engineer to join a well-established Glass Manufacturing organisation based in Ormskirk, West Lancashire on a permanent basis.

This is a great opportunity to join the Architectural Engineering team who cover all aspects of projects from feasibility, specification, design and procurement to installation and commissioning.

Location:

The ideal candidate will be located in Ormskirk or surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver control and instrumentation engineering projects from design through commissioning.
  • Prepare technical specifications, drawings and project documentation.
  • Manage equipment procurement, installation and contractor activities.
  • Ensure projects meet safety, quality, budget and schedule requirements.
  • Provide technical support and drive continuous improvement.

  • Degree (minimum 2:1) in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Chartered Engineer or working towards CEng Status.
  • Experience in control systems, instrumentation and project delivery.
  • Knowledge of engineering standards and technical documentation.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving and organisational skills.
