We are looking for skilled and reliable Insulation Installers to join our installation teams and help us continue delivering high-quality work for our customers.

Role Description

As an Insulation Installer, you will be responsible for completing insulation installations safely, efficiently and to a high standard across our customer sites. You’ll work independently and as part of an installation team, completing programmed works while ensuring installations meet manufacturer guidelines, design specifications, client requirements and Avonside Energy’s Health & Safety and quality standards. A key part of the role is getting the job right first time - delivering quality workmanship, meeting productivity expectations and providing a professional service on site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Completing insulation installations in accordance with manufacturer guidelines, specifications and client requirements
  • Working safely and in accordance with company RAMS and Health & Safety procedures
  • Working independently or as part of a team to complete daily programmed works
  • Completing installation records through our field application, including photographs and customer sign-off
  • Working towards agreed productivity and first-time-fit targets
  • Maintaining high standards of workmanship and minimising remedial works
  • Communicating professionally with site management teams and homeowners
  • Identifying and escalating site, access or installation issues promptly
  • Carrying out dynamic risk assessments before starting work
  • Using PPE, tools and equipment safely and correctly
  • Safely loading, unloading and managing materials
  • Looking after company-issued tools, equipment and vehicles
  • Supporting work outside your usual area, including overnight stays where required

The role is primarily focused on insulation installation, but there may also be opportunities to train and gain accreditation to install other Avonside Energy products as the business develops.

Qualifications

To be considered for the role you should have:

  • A valid CSCS card
  • A full UK driving licence
  • The ability to work at height and in varying site conditions
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work
  • A good understanding of site Health & Safety
  • Good communication skills and professional conduct on site
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A reliable, flexible and proactive approach
  • A willingness to undertake further training across other Avonside Energy product lines

Previous experience carrying out insulation installations within the newbuild construction sector would be advantageous.
