Insurance Account Handler
Location: North West London
Office based - you must have some kind of UK Insurance experience
Clark James Insurance Recruitment currently have an excellent live vacancy in NW London suitable for anyone with recent experience (at least a year or two) in Insurance broking, underwriting, claims or administration, they are happy to give training on the risks you'll deal with. We won't be able to submit your CV if you don’t meet this unfortunately.
The company can offer a long term and stable career path with great training. The role is fully office based Monday to Friday, no weekend work! You would be dealing with areas such as Health Insurance, Private Medical (PMI) and Employee Benefits which is a great sector to get into.

You'll be working closely with and supporting the department manager and will quickly be given more responsibility after training.
Role And Responsibilities
- Help with the renewal retention
- Policy maintenance
- Negotiating premiums with underwriters
- Processing adjustments
- Preparing documentation
- Growth of a portfolio of clients for their insurance needs

Experience Required
- At least 1-2 years experience in Insurance with a general broker or in an Insurance Company Environment, more would be even better.
- Some knowledge of how the industry is regulated by the FCA and Treating Customers Fairly (TCF)
- Good level of numeracy and spelling, you will need strong administration skills
- Comfortable speaking to clients on the phone and via email.
