Insurance Account Handler Opportunity in York
Currently working in the Insurance industry or looking for a change? Then we have an exciting new opportunity for you as an Insurance Account Handler within our friendly personal lines team based in York.
About the Role
Joining us as an Insurance Account Handler means you'll have the benefit of:
- Working Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm (no weekends here!)
- Earning a basic salary relative to your experience as well as a generous bonus structure
- Full training provided if you haven't worked in Insurance before

Key Responsibilities
Every day you will be:
- Supporting a designated client portfolio
- Acting as their first point of contact
- Building strong relationships
- Supporting them with queries as they arise
This role is perfect for you if you love customer service or sales as relationship-building with our clients will be the key to your success.
Requirements
What we are looking for in our Account Handlers:
- Some experience with Personal lines in the Insurance Industry is preferred but not essential as training will be provided
- Ability to bring your best self to work every day
- Proactive, with a willingness to learn and be curious
- Confidence to work with clients both on the phone and face to face
- Experience in customer service is important
- Work well with your team, have a positive outlook, be engaging, collaborative, and resilient
- Demonstrate honesty and integrity
