About the job
Role: Insurance audit technical administrator for a small London based insurance audit company – 25 hours per week
Location: Remote/hybrid (some travel to the London office required)
Start date: negotiable but September start preferred
Business: insurance audit and consultancy
Overview of role
Working for a growing insurance audit and consultancy business based in London, the varied screen-based role supports the small finance and administration team who are responsible for all aspects of finance as well as pricing and managing the pipeline of work for auditors in the UK.
Your key responsibilities would include;
- Maintain internal and external databases re dates and prices and audits required.
- Manage audit workflow.
- Analyse client audit instructions and draft fee correspondence to clients.
- Calculation of audit fees using an Excel template.
- Review of insurance contracts for relevant data.
- Communicate with other parts of the business including both junior and senior personnel.
- Provide day-to-day support to Finance including bookkeeping and credit control.

About You
- Graduate level qualification
- Strong computer skills - expertise with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Monday, Quickbooks.
- Proven attention to detail.
- Proven numeracy and literacy.
- Conscientious, positive and questioning mindset essential.
- Previous experience as an administrator and/or bookkeeper preferred.
- Organised, proactive and able to manage your own workload with minimal supervision.
