About The Role
Access Insurance, proudly part of Benefact Group, is looking for an Insurance Broker to join our new business broking team in our Selsdon office in South London, supporting charities, churches, community groups and not-for-profit organisations across the UK.
As part of our new business team, you will provide exceptional service, jargon-free advice and tailored insurance solutions that help clients protect their people, activities, assets and communities. You will be ambitious and proactive in achieving new business and related product income targets, while building trusted relationships and helping each organisation secure cover that is built for purpose.

What you'll be doing
- Drive new business growth by converting enquiries into built-for-purpose insurance solutions for charities, churches, community groups and other not-for-profit clients.
- Build trusted client relationships by understanding each organisation’s activities, risks and priorities, and providing clear, friendly and professional advice.
- Maximise client satisfaction by presenting tailored quotations that balance protection, suitability and value, so clients only pay for the cover they need.
- Identify opportunities to support clients more holistically by discussing additional exposures, related products and wider protection needs.
- Work accurately and efficiently within a regulated environment, ensuring cover is arranged, records are maintained and documentation is issued promptly.
- Contribute to team performance by achieving individual targets, supporting workflow standards and maintaining a high-quality client experience.

What you'll need to have
- Bring a strong client-service mindset, with the confidence to build rapport, understand client needs and provide a professional experience from first enquiry through to cover being arranged.
- Bring experience in insurance or financial services, with an awareness of FCA regulations and the ability to apply them practically in a client-focused, compliant environment.
- Use clear written and verbal communication skills to listen, engage and explain information in a way that is simple, helpful and easy for clients to understand.
- Be accurate, organised and commercially aware, with good numeracy, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities to deadline.
- Show ambition, curiosity and motivation to learn, develop technical knowledge and work towards industry qualifications.
- Be tech-savvy and keen to embrace innovation, with good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and the confidence to use digital tools to improve efficiency, client service and ways of working.
- Be proactive, resourceful and supportive, contributing positively to team performance, service standards and a high-quality client experience.
