Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per annum, depending on experience
OTE: £42,000 – £47,000

About Cransford
Cransford is a growing Private Medical Insurance brokerage based in Belfast, specialising exclusively in the private medical insurance market. We work with businesses and individuals across the UK, providing tailored Private Medical Insurance solutions and working with leading insurers to find the right cover for our clients. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Private Medical Insurance Broker to join our team.
The Role
As a Private Medical Insurance Broker, you will manage the full broking process, from understanding a client's requirements through to presenting suitable options and securing the business. This is a sales-focused broking role, suited to someone who enjoys building relationships, identifying opportunities and delivering an excellent client experience. You will work with both new and existing clients, developing relationships and helping them navigate what can often be a complex insurance market.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing new and existing Private Medical Insurance enquiries
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Conducting client fact-finds and understanding individual requirements
- Researching and comparing suitable PMI solutions from a range of insurers
- Preparing and presenting quotations and recommendations
- Negotiating with insurers to secure appropriate terms
- Converting new business opportunities
- Identifying opportunities to develop and grow existing client relationships
- Managing renewals and ensuring clients receive a high standard of service
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all activity is fully compliant
- Working closely with colleagues to deliver an excellent client experience
- Achieving agreed individual sales and revenue targets

What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who is commercially minded, confident speaking with clients and motivated by achieving results. Ideally, you will have previous experience within insurance broking, particularly Private Medical Insurance. However, we will consider candidates with strong general insurance, financial services or sales experience who can demonstrate the right attitude and commercial ability.

- Previous experience in insurance, financial services or a customer-facing sales environment

- Ability to manage multiple clients and opportunities effectively
- Confident dealing with clients and insurers

Desirable
- Previous Private Medical Insurance broking experience
- Experience working with major PMI insurers
- Experience managing a book of clients
- Experience working towards sales or revenue targets
