Insurance Client Manager – Aon Credit Solutions National Clients

Are you passionate about building trusted relationships with large corporate clients and helping them navigate complex Trade Credit Insurance programmes?

Aon Credit Solutions is looking for a Client Manager to join our National Clients Team, supporting some of the UK's largest and most sophisticated trade credit insurance buyers.

This is a hybrid role providing flexibility to work virtually and from our offices in Reading or Birmingham.

What The Day Will Look Like

As part of Aon’s market-leading National Clients team, you will work alongside Industry Specialists, insurers and international colleagues to manage Trade Credit Insurance programmes for UK clients.

You will act as a trusted adviser, helping clients manage trade credit risk while identifying opportunities to strengthen cash flow, protect balance sheets and support growth.

Working across Aon’s Credit Solutions practice, you will also help deliver risk transfer, working capital and trade finance solutions that create value beyond traditional Trade Credit Insurance.

  • Manage a portfolio of National Client relationships, delivering outstanding service and strategic support.
  • Lead the day-to-day servicing of Trade Credit Insurance programmes.
  • Analyse client data and prepare high-quality market submissions and renewal presentations.
  • Build strong insurer relationships to negotiate appropriate cover and commercial outcomes.
  • Present policy renewals, market developments and recommendations to clients.
  • Work with the wider Aon team to develop client strategies and identify opportunities to enhance programmes.
  • Support new business opportunities, pitches, proposals and client growth.

Unlike many traditional broking roles, this position goes beyond policy placement and administration. You will work closely with clients to understand their strategic objectives, helping them manage risk, improve cash flow, support growth ambitions and unlock working capital solutions through Aon's wider Credit Solutions offering.

This role provides an excellent platform to develop your technical expertise, client management capabilities and commercial acumen while working within the world's leading Trade Credit broker initiatives.

Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success

  • Experience in Trade Credit Insurance or a related financial services environment.
  • Strong client relationship management and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Ability to analyse information and provide clear, commercially focused recommendations.
  • Strong organisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience preparing reports, presentations and market submissions.
  • A proactive, collaborative and client-focused approach.
