Turn data into better outcomes for pets and their owners!
We're building something new. Pets at Home is launching an exciting new Pet Insurance business, combining the energy and influence of a start-up with the backing, scale and brand strength of the UK's leading pet care company.
As an Insurance Data Analyst, you'll join at the very beginning of our journey, helping shape how data drives decisions across pricing, underwriting, claims, customer experience and commercial performance.
What sets us apart?
Access to a unique pet care ecosystem. Working across the wider Pets at Home Group, including our veterinary businesses, you'll have the opportunity to analyse rich pet health and customer data that most insurers simply don't have access to, unlocking deeper insight and helping us create a better insurance experience for pet owners.
About the Role
You'll transform complex data into clear, actionable insight that helps us grow a sustainable insurance business while delivering great outcomes for customers and their pets.
Working closely with teams across Pricing, Underwriting, Claims, Commercial, Finance, Marketing and Digital, you'll uncover trends, identify opportunities and build the dashboards and analysis that inform key business decisions.
Location:
Remote working, with some requirement to travel to the Insurance Support Office (location tbc) and Pets at Home Support Office in Handforth (Cheshire) as required. Attendance at other national meetings, as required.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
