So, what does the role of an Insurance Development Executive here involve?
Working closely with clients across a range of sectors, you'll take the time to understand their business operations, risks, and insurance requirements, designing tailored insurance and risk management solutions that protect their assets and liabilities.
Responsibilities include:
- Meeting with prospective clients to understand their business, risks, and insurance requirements.
- Conducting a full insurance and risk management review to identify exposures and protection needs.
- Gathering and presenting risk information to support the broking and placement process.
- Liaising with insurers and underwriters to obtain competitive quotations and solutions.
- Presenting and selling insurance programmes and risk management solutions to secure new business.
- Identifying opportunities to expand existing client portfolios through cross-selling and additional covers.
- Generating new business opportunities in line with company objectives and individual targets.
- Managing client communications, meeting agendas, reports, and follow-up actions in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge of insurance products, market conditions, and regulatory developments.
- Ensuring compliance with FCA regulations, company procedures, and customer service standards.

Strong commercial motor fleet experience is highly desirable.
The ideal candidate will be:

- As this is a road-based role, a full UK driving licence is required.
