About the role
SEIB Insurance Brokers, who are proudly part of Benefact Group, are looking for an Equine Administrator to join our South Ockendon office.
As an Equine Administrator, you will handle all communications and documentation in an efficient and accurate manner, within company guidelines. An Equine Administrator will also need to be competent in dealing with Underwriting queries.
This is a fantastic 12-month fixed-term opportunity to start your journey in the insurance industry and use your enthusiasm for all things equine to thrive in a rewarding role.

What you'll be doing
- Manage Equine insurance administration, including new business, renewals, policy adjustments, and issuing accurate documentation within compliance timescales.
- Deliver excellent customer service by handling telephone calls, correspondence, client queries, and referrals promptly, professionally, and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records and financial transactions, ensuring client monies, overdue transactions, diaries, and computer systems are kept up to date and compliant with company guidelines.
- Support business performance by working towards retention targets, identifying opportunities to promote additional products and services, and achieving agreed KPIs and quality standards.
- Maintain professional competence and teamwork through continuous professional development, working with colleagues and contributing to a positive and collaborative working environment.

What you'll need to have

- Provide an excellent client experience by confidently building rapport and communicating effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Manage workload effectively through strong organisation, time management, and the ability to work flexibly in a team environment.
- Work confidently in a regulated and compliant environment, maintaining a client-focused approach and using IT systems effectively.
- Proven Equestrian knowledge and experience
