Insurance Manager - Global Programs

Salary: £70,000 + performance-related bonus
Location: Flexible London-based working
Job Type: Permanent, full-time

This role effectively provides technical and operational depth within the team and working closely with a senior Insurance Manager across multinational programmes, renewals, claims, captive/risk financing and wider insurance matters for a complex organisation.

An experienced Insurance Manager will join the central insurance function of a large, complex international organisation. This is a broad corporate insurance role supporting the management and development of a substantial multinational insurance portfolio. You will work across a range of insurance programmes, renewals, risk-financing activities and complex claims, partnering with stakeholders across multiple territories.

The position would suit an insurance professional looking for a varied role with significant international exposure and the opportunity to take ownership of key areas of a sophisticated corporate insurance programme.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage key areas of a large corporate insurance portfolio, providing practical insurance and risk-transfer advice to stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Take day-to-day ownership of selected multinational insurance programmes while providing support across the wider portfolio.
  • Manage key elements of the annual renewal cycle, including renewal strategy, exposure analysis, underwriting information, insurer engagement, negotiations and placement activity.
  • Work closely with brokers and international stakeholders to ensure global and local insurance arrangements are implemented effectively.
  • Support the management of significant and complex claims, including insurance matters arising from major business events.
  • Analyse insurance, claims, exposure and financial information to support decision-making.
  • Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders, brokers, insurers and other external partners.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
