Role Overview
The Insurance Manager sits within the finance/risk function reporting into the Head of Insurance.
The team is responsible for policies across UK & Europe alongside global group placements. They will be responsible for providing operational/technical support and hands-on delivery across core insurance processes. The position becomes available at an exciting time for the team as it evolves its insurance programme, governance framework, and operating processes. The role will support both the ongoing management of existing insurance arrangements and the delivery of strategic initiatives to enhance the effectiveness, consistency, and scalability of the Group's insurance programme. It is suited to someone with a strong insurance background who is inquisitive, solutions-focused, and comfortable operating within a changing environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage a defined portfolio of insurance policies (from local to Group placements), ensuring ongoing compliance with policy conditions and liaising with relevant stakeholders.
- Support the development and implementation of enhancements to the Group insurance programme, including policy structures, governance frameworks, and supporting processes.
- Support the Head of Insurance in maintaining an effective and efficient insurance programme which aligns and adapts to business needs and risk appetite.
- Lead and/or support renewal exercises particularly data collation, validation, and timely submissions to brokers.
- Review and challenge data quality.
- Provide day-to-day insurance support to the wider business, including interpretation of policy coverage, insurance-related queries, and supplier insurance requirements.
- Build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Support in providing proactive risk management advice to the business.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, insurers, and third-party providers, ensuring effective service delivery.
- Identifying opportunities and implementing processes to improve efficiencies and enhance governance.
- Support with the financial oversight of the Group and UK/EU insurance programmes.
- Produce and maintain accurate insurance MI, reports, and presentations for senior stakeholders.
Skills & Experience Required
- Strong understanding of insurance principles and policy coverages.
- Experience supporting insurance programme renewals and policy placement activities.
- Ability to analyse complex information and present findings clearly to a range of stakeholders.
- Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite specifically PowerPoint and Excel.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders and ability to manage external suppliers.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and develop meaningful MI.
