  • Liaise with the insurance broker and insurer stakeholders to support negotiations
  • Efficiently run post-placement activities including premium allocation and payment, certificate distribution and US audits
  • Provide technical advice on insurance clauses in business contracts
  • Manage claims between the business, broker and insurers and build relationships with claims adjusters, insurers and other claims-related parties to achieve the best outcome
  • Provide insurance due diligence and integration support on M&A opportunities
  • Provide feedback to Smiths Detection management team and CVC (as required) on renewal strategy and outcome, and any material insurance market updates
  • Support Senior Leadership Team with principal risk reviews by conducting insurance gap analyses
  • Support business with insurance considerations for entry into new products and end-markets
  • Manage the information requirements, understanding the insurance requests, standardising and simplifying it into a format that can be easily gathered, running the annual process to ensure accuracy and completeness, and collecting and reviewing the information from sites
  • Manage global insurance costs, balancing opportunities to reduce premiums while appropriately managing risk

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
