💼 Contract Type: Full time, Permanent
🏢 Work Life Balance: Hybrid, at least one day per week in our Northampton office

🌟 The Role:

We’re looking for a proactive and experienced Travel Insurance Insurer Relationship Manager to own and grow relationships with our key insurance partners.

You’ll be the main point of contact for our insurer partnerships, building trusted relationships while ensuring strong performance, great customer outcomes and continued product development. You’ll work closely with teams across the business and our insurance partners to identify opportunities, solve challenges and make our propositions even better.

🌟What you’ll be doing

  • Own day-to-day relationships with key travel insurance providers, acting as a trusted strategic partner.
  • Lead regular partner governance and performance reviews, identifying risks, challenges and opportunities.
  • Monitor OKRs, SLAs and partner performance, turning data into clear insights and actions.
  • Support contract and SLA management, ensuring agreed obligations are delivered.
  • Work with insurers and our Insurance Product Team to develop and enhance travel insurance products.
  • Coordinate product updates and training across Sales, Support, Marketing and other teams.
  • Ensure partnerships meet relevant regulatory, compliance and fair value requirements.
  • Work cross-functionally with Pricing, Marketing, Sales, Claims and Customer Service to improve partner performance and customer outcomes.
  • Bring feedback from customers and internal teams to our insurance partners to drive continuous improvement.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships while confidently challenging partners where needed.

You’ll be an experienced Insurance Relationship Manager with a strong understanding of insurance products and the ability to build and manage effective partnerships.

You’ll bring:

  • Experience in insurance relationship management, ideally within travel, pet or general insurance.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance products, claims and underwriting principles.
  • Excellent relationship-building, communication and negotiation skills.
  • A commercial and analytical mindset, with the ability to understand performance data and identify opportunities.
  • Good knowledge of relevant insurance regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders and influencing external partners.
  • A proactive, organised approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

🌟Desirable

It would be great if you also have:

  • Experience working with a global or regional insurer or broker.
  • Knowledge of digital distribution and InsurTech partnerships.
  • Experience working with price comparison websites or other digital distribution channels.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for partner meetings and industry events.
