We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join us as an Insurance Risk Associate in a truly global environment, supporting the current Insurance Risk Manager. Key Accountabilities

  • Consolidate and process monthly Insurance declarations for the Group
  • Assist in daily management of Key Insurance Policies
  • Respond to ad-hoc in-house Insurance queries
  • Manage and oversee specific areas of cover in relation to Worldwide Storage facilities
  • Undertake projects to improve the administrative side of Group Insurance
  • Daily liaison with brokers, department colleagues and overseas Operations worldwide
  • Engage regularly with the Insurance market including off-site meetings
  • Review internal agreements and advise on relevant coverage available under Group Policies, (Warehouse Agreements / Purchase & Sale contracts)
  • Assist with local placements and queries from overseas operations
  • Periodic review of key insurance documents
  • Ad hoc analysis projects

Skills and Experience

  • Substantial experience within the commodities Industry working for either a Trade House dealing specifically with Insurance or Operations / Trade Support or within the Insurance Market.
  • Knowledge of Incoterms.
  • Working knowledge of:
    • Word
    • Excel (advanced Excel skills)
    • Outlook
    • PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication skills
