Role Description
The Insurance Sales Account Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Llantrisant, South Wales. This position is responsible for managing commercial clients, identifying coverage needs, and recommending suitable insurance solutions. Day-to-day tasks include:

The role involves:
- Maintaining strong client relationships through regular reviews
- Writing new business and ongoing support
- Collaborating with internal teams such as underwriting, claims, and risk management
The Account Executive is also expected to:
- Meet sales targets
- Maintain accurate documentation in CRM systems
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory requirements, and Gallagher products and services
Qualifications
- Strong sales, negotiation, and business development skills, with a proven ability to meet or exceed targets.
- Client relationship management and customer service skills, including the ability to build trust and communicate complex information clearly.
- Knowledge of insurance products, coverage structures, and risk management principles; experience in brokerage or financial services is highly beneficial.
- Organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts, renewals, and deadlines.
- Professional communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in preparing proposals and presentations.
- Comfort working with digital tools and CRM systems; competency in standard office software (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Relevant professional certifications or progress toward industry qualifications (e.g., CII or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment in the United Kingdom and comply with applicable regulatory and ethical standards.
