Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Sales Director to join our global team in the Insurance domain. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of and experience with the sales process, excelling at lead generation, relationship building, and closing deals. We're seeking a quick learner with strong negotiating skills, and someone with a track record of success who can inspire the same in others.
- Experience in IT services/product companies (about 15-20 years experience in UK/Europe)
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: business development, bid/proposal management, sales negotiations, or commercial pricing with Insurance Services Clients
- Should sell horizontal services like Applications, Cloud, Infra, data, etc.
- Experience in selling IT services in the Insurance domain
- Extensive experience working with Onsite/Offshore Sales Model
- Experience/exposure to Platform selling (Guidewire, pega, appian, aws, etc. – experiences of winning clients with these platforms)
- Underwriting optimisation (insurance clients win with a good knowledge)
- API integrations (ability to help integrate)
- AI / Data (this is good to know)
- Ability to influence or complete assignments independently, whilst making decisions autonomously
- Capability to build own pipeline through demand generation and targeted campaigns
- Proven ability to manage complex sales cycle, with a track record of successful revenue attainment
- Enable coordinated involvement of company resources, including Delivery, Support functions, and Management team to meet sales performance objectives and customer expectations
- Willing to travel
- Strong connections in the Insurance industry
