About The Role

An Insurance Solicitor with 6+ years’ PQE is sought by eNL’s client, a nationally recognised practice in London. This full-time role offers a salary between £75,000 and £90,000, dependent on experience, with hybrid working available. You will advise major London Market insurers and reinsurers on complex, high-value disputes, covering policy coverage, indemnity, and liability. The position involves managing a diverse caseload and providing strategic counsel on reinsurance matters. Career progression is a key feature, with exposure to market-leading work within a specialist team.

Overview

  • Manage a varied caseload of high value insurance disputes, advising on policy coverage, indemnity and liability issues, reinsurance disputes and wider strategic advisory matters.
  • Gain significant exposure to international work, working closely with foreign local counsel and advising clients on complex cross border insurance matters.
  • Act for major London Market insurers and reinsurers as part of a nationally recognised team of more than 80 insurance specialists.

Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors with a minimum of 6 years' PQE and strong experience in insurance litigation, policy coverage and defence work.

Reinsurance experience is essential, together with a strong understanding of the London Market and the relationships between insurers, reinsurers, brokers and legal advisers.

Experience supervising junior lawyers and contributing to client relationship management, business development and wider team initiatives will be highly advantageous.

On offer is a salary of up to circa £90,000 DOE, together with hybrid working arrangements of 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home.
