Job Description & Summary

About the Role

PwC’s Insurance Tax team is the UK market leader in providing tax services to the insurance sector. We work with general, life and health insurers, reinsurers, brokers, and the Lloyd’s market, serving major UK names as well as leading European, US and Bermudan groups. Alongside top-tier firms, we support medium-sized businesses and start-ups. Operating nationally, our team is centred in London with practices in Edinburgh, Leeds, Manchester, and Bristol.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Manager to join our growing team, delivering a wide range of tax services to clients across the insurance market in a collaborative environment.

What your days will look like:

  • Support a portfolio of Financial Services Insurance clients, leading on direct tax advisory and compliance matters while supporting Senior Manager and Directors
  • Provide strategic solutions to complex insurance tax challenges, leveraging analytical skills and coordinating input from global specialists
  • Drive client growth and business development, identifying new opportunities and strengthening relationships across the insurance market
  • Lead and develop the team, through coaching, training, and supervision, while staying ahead of regulatory changes and building your PwC brand

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
