Role Overview
Our client is an independent Lloyd's Broker with a strong presence in the London Market. An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a London Market professional to join a busy technical operations function, supporting the accurate and timely processing of insurance business from placement through to settlement.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and maintain insurance risks and associated transactions, working from MRCs, endorsements, and relevant internal and market systems to ensure all information is accurately captured within required timescales.
- Manage the upload and processing of premium information through Bureau and other relevant London Market platforms, following established procedures and controls.
- Work collaboratively with internal business and servicing teams to investigate and resolve technical, data, and transaction-related queries.
- Proactively identify discrepancies, incomplete information, and processing exceptions, taking ownership of these through to resolution.
- Assist with the allocation and reconciliation of unallocated cash, helping to maintain accurate financial records and achieve monthly operational targets.
- Provide support with the preparation, checking, and validation of bordereaux, ensuring submissions meet both carrier requirements and internal data quality standards.
- Maintain a strong focus on accuracy, compliance, and data quality, ensuring processing is completed to a consistently high standard.
- Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and contribute to initiatives involving systems development, automation, and technology enhancements.
- Keep technical knowledge and understanding of the London Market up to date, undertaking relevant training and development as required.

About You

- A minimum of 2 years of London Market technical processing experience required, ideally for a Lloyd's Broker.
- Strong knowledge of MRC Slips, Endorsements, and LPAN creation.
- Experience in using Xchanging/Velonetic.
- Experience in various classes of business.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail skills.
