Integrated Communications Planning Manager
Salary: Up to £63,000
Location: London
Work Pattern: Hybrid, 3 days on-site, 2 days WFH
About the Company
Our client is a large, purpose-led consumer organisation operating in a complex, highly visible environment, responsible for some of the UK's most-recognisable brands. The business combines commercial ambition with a strong emphasis on responsible business and positive social impact.
The Role
This is a permanent planning role sitting at the centre of our client's in-house creative agency. You’ll bring greater rigour and consistency to how campaigns and communications are planned, prioritised and delivered, acting as the central point connecting multiple teams and senior stakeholders. Rather than being a hands-on creative campaign role, the focus is on making the whole communications operation work effectively, connecting strategy, planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and maintain integrated communications roadmaps, ensuring activity is prioritised and aligned to business objectives.
- Coordinate annual, quarterly and ongoing planning cycles, translating strategic priorities into clear plans, timelines and delivery roadmaps.
- Act as the central point of coordination across communications, marketing and wider business teams.
- Manage dependencies, risks, priorities, approvals and delivery challenges across multiple concurrent workstreams.
- Bring greater structure, consistency and governance to campaign planning from initial brief through to delivery.
- Use reporting, measurement and KPIs to provide visibility of performance and support decision-making.
- Turn campaign and communications performance data into clear, actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- Build alignment across multiple stakeholders, audiences and channels.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
