This is a band 6 Community Midwife post for the Mid Argyll locality offered on a fixed term/secondment contract until September 2027.
Role Overview
The post holder will provide direct antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care to women and their families within the Mid Argyll locality.

Responsibilities
- Supporting women in their choice of place of birth
- Providing care under a community midwifery model
- Practicing autonomously with support from consultants from Greater Glasgow and Clyde
- Responding to obstetric emergencies with support from on-call GPs and hospital staff during out-of-hours periods
Requirements
- An on-call requirement for out-of-hours care and emergency response
- A driving license is essential for this post

About the Team
The Mid Argyll Midwifery Team is a small, committed team dedicated to providing an excellent service to patients within the locality. Training is provided, and there is a Service Level Agreement with GG&C for ongoing training and development.
