At MECCA
At MECCA, our Planning team plays a critical role in ensuring the right products are available at the right time for our customers. We're looking for an Integrated Planner to join us, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive demand forecasting, replenishment planning, and inventory optimisation across your brand portfolio.
This role is instrumental in ensuring effective inventory planning, balancing customer demand with inventory targets, and supporting the continued growth of the MECCA network through data-driven planning and strong cross-functional partnerships.
The Role You Could Play:
Reporting to the Category Planning Manager, you will own the demand planning process for your portfolio and ensure inventory is optimised to meet customer demand. You will:
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and maintain accurate consensus forecasts, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies where required.
- Manage the end-to-end demand planning lifecycle, including new product launches, promotional events, campaigns, and product discontinuations.
- Partner closely with Brand teams to forecast new product introductions, aligning on ranging decisions and demand assumptions.
- Place and manage purchase orders in line with supplier ordering cycles, ensuring optimal stock availability and inventory performance.
- Monitor inventory levels and planning KPIs to deliver strong service levels, support key trading events, and drive continuous improvement across the planning process.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
