Integration Analyst

Location: Telford
Duration: 6 months
Hybrid: 2 days/week in the office
Pay Rate: £469 per day all inc. (PAYE through Umbrella)

Contractor Must Be SC Eligible or SC Cleared (active) - Can start with BPSS but will need to apply for SC if not held already.

Role Purpose

The Integration Analyst is responsible for providing the technical analysis, discovery, planning, and delivery support required to successfully design, migrate, modernise, and decommission integration services across complex programmes. Working closely with architects, engineers, product owners, delivery managers, and business stakeholders, the role acts as the bridge between business requirements and technical implementation.

The Integration Analyst develops a deep understanding of applications, APIs, integrations, data flows, dependencies, and operational processes to support informed technical decision-making. Unlike a traditional business analyst role, the Integration Analyst operates primarily within the technical domain, helping delivery teams understand existing integration estates, define migration requirements, assess impacts and dependencies, maintain delivery backlogs, and produce the technical artefacts necessary to support successful delivery.

The role combines analytical thinking, stakeholder engagement, technical understanding, and delivery support to reduce ambiguity, improve planning accuracy, and accelerate delivery outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Discovery & Workshops

  • Lead technical discovery activities across applications, APIs, integration platforms, and supporting services.
  • Facilitate workshops with business, application, infrastructure, and engineering teams.
  • Elicit and document current-state integration landscapes and technical processes.
  • Identify dependencies, risks, constraints, and architectural considerations.
  • Build an understanding of business-critical integration capabilities and operational requirements.
  • Support architects in defining future-state integration approaches and migration strategies.
  • Produce discovery outputs that provide clear visibility of integration estates and associated complexity.

API & Integration Analysis

  • Analyse existing APIs, services, interfaces, messaging solutions, file transfers, and system integrations.
  • Document interface behaviours, protocols, data contracts, dependencies, and service interactions.
  • Assess integration patterns and identify opportunities for rationalisation, modernisation, or simplification.
  • Support API inventory creation, classification, and assessment activities.
  • Evaluate integration readiness for migration, transformation, or cloud adoption initiatives.
  • Collaborate with architects and engineers to validate technical assumptions and design decisions.
  • Assist in defining integration requirements and acceptance criteria.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
