Integration Architect - £700 - £1000 Per Day – 6 Months (extensions) – Belfast (Hybrid) – Consultancy
Overview:
We are currently searching for an experienced Integration Architect to join a leading Consultancy and support the delivery of a major integration and data programme based in Belfast.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Define and design enterprise integration architecture across applications, data platforms and cloud environments.
- Design REST APIs, Web Services, data pipelines, integration flows and data movement patterns.
- Work with engineering, data and business teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Support the selection and implementation of a suitable Data Integration Platform, with the platform currently undecided.
- Define integration standards and ensure solutions meet data governance, security, performance and operational requirements.
- Provide architectural oversight across development, DevOps, CI/CD and production environments.

Technical Requirements:
- Strong experience with API and Integration Architecture, including REST APIs and Web Services.
- Strong experience designing and modelling data pipelines and data flows.
- Programming or scripting experience with Python, Java, C++ and/or Batch Scripting.
- Strong SQL knowledge with Oracle, Azure SQL and MySQL.
- Experience with cloud platforms, ideally Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with Oracle Middleware, Oracle Service Bus, Oracle Enterprise Management and Operational Integration Architecture.
- Good understanding of data governance, security, DevOps and CI/CD.
- Knowledge of conceptual, logical and physical Data Modelling and Data Warehousing.
- Basic understanding of Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing would be beneficial.
