The Opportunity

We are supporting a leading UK retail organisation on a major enterprise transformation programme and are seeking an experienced Integration Architect to lead the design of a strategic data observability and reconciliation capability.

This is a long-term contract offering the opportunity to shape enterprise integration architecture across complex legacy and cloud environments, ensuring business-critical data remains accurate, trusted and consistent across multiple platforms.

Working with senior architects, engineering teams and business stakeholders, you will define reusable integration patterns, establish reconciliation frameworks and drive best practice across a large-scale transformation programme.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end integration architecture for enterprise data reconciliation and observability.
  • Design scalable, configuration-driven frameworks for cross-system data comparison and data quality validation.
  • Define integration patterns across batch, real-time streaming and API-based services.
  • Design logical and physical data models supporting reconciliation, auditability and reporting.
  • Architect exception handling, discrepancy management and reconciliation metrics.
  • Define monitoring, alerting and dashboard requirements with observability teams.
  • Produce high and low-level solution designs, standards and reference architectures.
  • Collaborate with enterprise architects, engineering teams and product owners to ensure architectural consistency.
  • Provide technical governance and architectural leadership across multiple delivery teams.
  • Drive adoption of enterprise integration standards and reusable architectural patterns.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
