Integration Consultant – Financial Services
📍 Location: Wrexham, North Wales
📅 Contract: 19 October 2026 – 22 October 2027
🔄 Potential: Contract-to-Hire
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Integration Consultant to support multiple client-facing implementation and integration projects within the financial services sector. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to understand requirements, analyse workflows, manage project deliverables, and ensure successful implementation through to production.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with clients to define and document project requirements and deliverables.
- Analyse business workflows and translate requirements into clear project documentation.
- Manage multiple client projects simultaneously, ensuring milestones and deliverables are achieved.
- Coordinate with internal teams including Sales, Client Services, Compliance, Legal, Product Management, Finance, and Training.
- Create and maintain project documentation including:
- Project Plans
- Business Requirements Documents
- Issues Logs
- Conformance Testing documentation
- Project Status Reports
- Lead regular project status meetings with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Provide project updates to senior management.
- Monitor client progress during the initial production rollout.
- Coordinate successful handover to production support teams.
- Identify opportunities for product improvements and provide recommendations to Product Management.
- Monitor project risks and controls and escalate issues appropriately.

About You

We are looking for someone with:
- 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably within Financial Services.
- Strong client-facing experience and the ability to manage client expectations effectively.
- Experience in business analysis, implementation, integration, or project management.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience managing multiple projects or client engagements.
- Understanding of institutional trade flow and trade processing.
- Knowledge of STP (Straight-Through Processing) and securities industry processes.
- Experience with financial messaging protocols such as FIX and/or SWIFT is highly desirable.
- Experience working for a technology/vendor organisation with external clients is advantageous.
- Knowledge of financial settlement and clearing is a plus.
- Knowledge of DTC settlement and clearing products/services is desirable.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
