Client: Fintech Trading Firm
Role: Permanent
Salary: Up to £150,000 + Market leading bonus
Location: London
My client is looking for an Engineer to join their Integration & Deployment team - where technology meets precision. This team is the engine behind seamless product delivery, working at the intersection of trading flows, high-performance infrastructure, scalable data frameworks, and modern microservices architecture.
You'll play a critical role in ensuring smooth transitions from development to production and research environments, while owning Change Management and the orchestration of scheduled deployments. If you thrive in high-stakes environments and love making complex systems hum, this is your playground.

Responsibilities
- Evaluate the implications of modifications and facilitate their implementation in production environments.
- Lead large-scale rollouts of applications across the organization following pilot testing.
- Coordinate and assist with production pipeline maintenance for trading and operational needs.
- Oversee the retirement of outdated hardware and applications to safeguard the production environment.
- Coordinate interconnected changes and liaise with external partners.
- Participate in meetings to review and authorize technology changes.
- Assess change impacts and ensure affected parties are informed.
- Provide assistance following application updates in collaboration with development teams.
- Develop and document procedures and checklists for application launches.
- Create tools for task automation and workflow optimization.
- Share insights on new trading processes with relevant teams.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related subject
- Strong experience working on Linux OS
- Working knowledge of Scripting languages like Python/Bash
- FIX Protocol
- Jira/Confluence
- Working knowledge of SQL
- Experience with CI/CD
- Communication skills are important
- Bachelors degree or relevant industry experience
