Integration Engineer | Kubernetes / Platform / DevOps

London | Hybrid (3 days on site

I’m working with a leading AI research organisation that is growing its engineering capability and looking for three Integration Engineers to join the team.

This isn't a traditional API or middleware integration role. You'll work across platform engineering, infrastructure and security, owning the deployment and lifecycle of multi-user applications running across Kubernetes and cloud environments.

You’ll take applications from initial deployment through to production operation, making sure they’re automated, secure, observable and easy to maintain.

What you’ll be working on:

  • Deploying, upgrading and managing applications on Kubernetes
  • Building and maintaining CI/CD and GitOps workflows
  • Automating infrastructure provisioning using Terraform / IaC
  • Integrating applications with SSO, SAML/OIDC and RBAC
  • Implementing container and dependency security scanning
  • Managing patching, CVE remediation and application hardening
  • Building monitoring, alerting and operational runbooks
  • Automating deployment and maintenance using Python, Bash or Go

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Experience with ArgoCD, Flux, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Okta or Entra ID would be useful, as would exposure to PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis and modern observability tooling.

This could suit someone currently working as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Cloud Platform Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer or SRE who enjoys owning applications end-to-end rather than focusing purely on the underlying infrastructure.

You’ll be joining a highly technical environment, working alongside engineers and researchers building at the forefront of AI.
