Integration Engineer - PLM/PDM
Remote - UK. £55,000-£75,000
We're working with a global engineering company that's continuing to grow its Professional Services team due to an increasing volume of customer projects.
This isn't a typical engineering role.
We're looking for someone with a strong understanding of PLM/PDM systems who enjoys working directly with customers and is comfortable writing code when needed. If you've spent time implementing, configuring or customising platforms such as Teamcenter, Windchill, ENOVIA or Aras, this could be an excellent opportunity.
You'll join a highly experienced team delivering integration projects for engineering and manufacturing customers, helping them automate engineering workflows and get more value from their PLM environment. You'll also work closely alongside a senior PLM specialist, giving you the opportunity to continue developing your technical knowledge.
What you'll be doing
- Working directly with customers to understand their engineering and PLM environments.
- Implementing and configuring PLM integration solutions.
- Customising PLM workflows and supporting engineering processes.
- Developing and maintaining software components and integrations using Java or C++ where required.
- Working with engineering data such as Bills of Materials (BOMs), CAD metadata, product structures and lifecycle information.
- Supporting customers throughout implementation, testing and deployment.
- Collaborating with engineering, product and customer-facing teams to deliver successful projects.

About you
We're much more interested in your PLM background than whether you're a career software engineer.
You'll ideally have:
- Around 3+ years' experience working with PLM/PDM systems.
- Experience with Teamcenter, Windchill, ENOVIA, Aras or similar enterprise PLM platforms.
- A solid understanding of engineering workflows, product lifecycle management and engineering data.
- Experience implementing, configuring or customising PLM solutions.
- Some experience writing code in Java or C++, or customising PLM platforms through code.
- Confidence working directly with customers and translating technical requirements into practical solutions.
- Experience working for a PLM software vendor, implementation partner or engineering consultancy would be highly advantageous.
