Role Description

The Integration Engineer will design, implement, and maintain integrations between customer systems and Brigge AI’s orchestration platform in a full-time, on-site role based in the Belfast Metropolitan Area. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

The role also involves:

  • Documenting technical designs
  • Contributing to integration best practices
  • Supporting continuous improvement of the platform’s integration capabilities
  • Working closely with clients and internal stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure successful deployment and maintenance of integrations

Qualifications

  • Strong Analytical Skills to interpret business requirements, assess system dependencies, and make data-driven integration decisions.
  • Advanced Troubleshooting skills to identify root causes, resolve integration failures, and optimize workflow reliability.
  • Software Development skills, preferably in languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript, including experience with APIs and microservices.
  • Integration expertise, including working with RESTful APIs, webhooks, data transformation, and connecting ERP, HR, CRM, and other enterprise systems.
  • Systems Engineering skills to design scalable architectures, ensure security and reliability, and manage cloud-based environments.
  • Relevant experience with iPaaS platforms, workflow automation tools, or AI-driven integration solutions is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), CI/CD practices, and modern DevOps tooling is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and a user-focused approach to solution design are expected.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
