Integration & MDM Lead Developer
£500–650/day | ~20 weeks | ASAP start | Ipswich/remote
I’m working with a consultancy delivering a new master data management platform for a client. The aim is one trusted source of workforce data across their HR and operational systems.
They need a Lead Developer to own the integration side, mainly the joiner/mover/leaver flows, and see it through from design to go-live. You’d lead a small team (a senior integration consultant and two developers) and act as design authority, while still getting stuck into the harder build work yourself.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
The work splits roughly 60% integration design and build, 20% MDM implementation, and 20% testing and release, with more of the focus moving to testing and handover in the new year.
What they’re looking for:
- 10+ years in integration, with at least 3 as a lead dev, tech lead or design authority
- A couple of integration programmes taken end to end, from design through to hypercare
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Integration Services, MuleSoft or Boomi
- Experience integrating with an MDM hub (Profisee, Informatica, Reltio, Semarchy, SAP MDG etc.). Profisee would be a bonus.
