International Integration Solution Architect
Role: International Integration Solution Architect
Location: London
Working Pattern: 3 days per week onsite
Contract Length: 6 months
IR35 Status: Inside IR35
Start Date: ASAP
We are looking for an experienced International Integration Solution Architect to join a large-scale retail transformation programme. This is a fantastic opportunity for an architect with a strong integration background who has delivered complex solutions across international markets and understands the challenges of operating within both B2B and B2C environments.
This role is heavily focused on enterprise integration architecture and requires a candidate with proven experience designing and governing integrations across digital commerce platforms, supply chain systems, partner networks, marketplaces, fulfilment operations, and third-party technology providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Define end-to-end solution and integration architectures across a complex international retail landscape.
- Lead the design of scalable, secure, and resilient integration solutions supporting both B2B and B2C business capabilities.
- Architect API-led, event-driven, and messaging-based solutions across cloud and enterprise platforms.
- Drive integration strategy, standards, governance, and best practices across multiple programmes and delivery teams.
- Work closely with engineering, product, business, and third-party stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of strategic initiatives.
- Design solutions supporting franchise, wholesale, marketplace, logistics, warehouse, fulfilment, and external partner integrations.
- Ensure architecture decisions align with security, resilience, performance, and operational requirements.
- Support international business growth through scalable technology solutions capable of supporting multiple markets and regions.

Essential Experience
- Extensive Retail industry experience (essential).
- Proven experience delivering technology solutions across international markets.
- Strong background in both B2B and B2C environments.
- Significant experience as a Solution Architect or Integration Architect on enterprise-scale programmes.
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, including Azure integration and cloud-native services.
- Strong experience defining and delivering enterprise integration architectures.
- Experience with API Management, microservices, event-driven architecture, messaging platforms, and system integration patterns.
- Experience integrating enterprise platforms, SaaS applications, third-party vendors, and legacy systems.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
